maihomu started pretty simply.
I kept noticing how certain things at home just stuck. A mug you always reach for. A tray that somehow ends up everywhere. Things you don’t think about much, but would miss if they disappeared.
And at the same time, there was so much stuff that came and went. Bought quickly. Forgotten just as fast.
I think I wanted fewer of those things.
maihomu is my way of slowing that down a little. Curating pieces that feel calm and considered. Things that earn their place over time, not because they’re special, but because they quietly fit into your day.
You could probably find something similar elsewhere and that’s okay.
What matters more to me is the care around it.
The way things are chosen.
The way they arrive at your door.
The little notes, the small surprises, the feeling that someone actually thought about you while packing your order.
This brand is built alongside real life. Work, relationships, faith, community. It’s not trying to be loud or fast. It grows when it’s ready.
And it doesn’t end when you buy something.
Through our notes, our newsletter, the little rituals we share, maihomu continues, quietly, in the background of your life. Something you come back to, not something shouting for attention.
If you’re here, you’re already part of it.
I like to think of you as one of our maihomates. Not customers, but friends who care about how their space feels, and who believe home is something you build over time.
We’re still early. Still figuring things out.
But I’m really glad you’re here :)
