Refund policy
We hope you love your MAIHOMU piece as much as we loved curating it.
However, if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Change of Mind
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery.
If you choose to return an item due to a change of mind, please note that you’ll be responsible for the return shipping cost.
Refunds or exchanges can only be processed once we receive the item in its original condition and packaging. To ensure safe transit, we recommend packaging your return securely - ideally in the same way it arrived to you.
For change-of-mind returns, approved refunds are issued as maihomu store credit only. Store credit has no expiry and can be used toward any future purchase.
If any damage occurs during the return shipment, it will be the customer’s responsibility to claim compensation through their chosen carrier or shipping insurance.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or something isn’t working as expected, please contact us within seven (7) days of receiving your parcel.
We’ll ask for:
- A brief description
- Photos of the item + packaging
Once verified, you can choose:
-
A replacement (preferred)
- A full refund to your original payment method
We handle all costs for damaged/faulty cases.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, some items may not be eligible for return. These will be clearly noted on the product page.
Sale Items
Please note that sale or discounted items are not eligible for refunds.
They may, however, be exchanged for another item - with additional shipping fees applied.
How to Start a Return
Email us at hello@maihomu.store with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you'd like to return
- A quick reason (optional but helpful for us)
We'll respond within 1-2 business days with the next steps.
